Sparkler Fun

Tonight, my daughter came into the living room while I was busy working on my computer and said, "Come outside." I was thinking there was something she might want to show me like a strange bug or maybe the moon was extra bright!

However, she found some leftover sparklers and wanted to light them with me. It was so nice to sit and just watch the little light sparkling before our eyes while we were mesmerized by their little dancing flames.  It's the little things that are the big things later. We came back inside and realized we just made a memory!

Back To School Prayer

School is getting ready to start! Lord, I pray today for the students that you have planned to be in my classroom! Give me the wisdom to lead and guide each one this year in your love.  Also, please help me lead them in reading, math, writing and in other areas of education. Let me spark their imaginations through science and the arts.  Give me courage to stand up in the face of adversity and stand strong for the things I know to be true and after your ways. Amen
