17 Ways to Use Graphic Organizers!

Graphic Organizers for Reading and Writing. The graphic organizer for reading is great to help analyze stories you are reading or your students are reading. The graphic organizer for writing would be great for prewriting. See the list below for all the graphic organizers included. There is also a graphic organizer for vocabulary words. Story Elements: I love these to use with any story to help students discover the characters and setting. There is a place for illustrations for younger students.  Older students may like this element too!
Print on the back to help them summarize beginning, middle and end.


These are great for asking questions before, during, and after reading.
There is a text to self, text to text, and text to world. There is also a KWL chart. Students can organize what they know, what they want to know, and what they have learned.


This KWL chart is organized differently. There is a venn diagram which is great to compare two books! You may also use a Venn diagram for other self connections, or text to world.
